Jardin des Mélodies
Emile has written over 300 French art songs, and a few in English and Bulgarian. Please write to us at emilenaoumoff@gmail.com if you are enticed by any of the Parfum de poésie, and would like to explore the music.
This bouquet of four songs are publised by Schott, in the tradition of French mélodie composition such as by Gabriel Fauré, with texts by late 19th century French poets. In their elegance and suppleness, the four songs sound typically French. As they are all easy to sing and have not been composed 'against' the voice, they are perfectly suited for both music lessons and concert programmes.
